understanding and sharing
Towards business partners, we operate based on credibility. We strive for exceptional business results, create fair and mutual benefits, and together, contribute to the development of the community and society.
We welcome business partners who understand and share our notions of community values in business. We welcome Vietnamese businesses that focus on corporate social responsibilities, offering products that are mindful of the environment and the local cultural values.
“Up to this point Hum is the biggest buying partner of organic produce within Proci network. Along with Hum, from 6-7 families, the network has increased to 30 families, offering up to 150 items. Not only buying, but Hum also accompanies the families in organizing production, helping them initiate anew with a good seeding, making contracts with them to buy all of the produce so they work very securely. Whichever the amount produced, Hum would take it, no complaint on the visual presentation, no bargain. They go even so far as sponsoring some minority families to switch from farming using chemicals to start farming organically.
There are very few entities with a similar way of doing as Hum: to work with the farmers, empathize and respect them. This way of agriculture is not easy but with them, everyone is further encouraged.
And their collaboration is genuine, it’s real doing and not just an image. That’s really rare. I believe there are many more things we can do with one another on this path.”
“I adore Hum, that embraces the owner’s vision as well as the work of the team. Working with Hum for two years now, I know they want the best for their clients and their partners alike. They understand what organic agriculture is, they understand that when no chemicals are used and that the harvest depends on the season, it is really different [than mass production]. They really are not opinionated on the presentation of the produce at all.
I have pursued organic farming for 6 years now. I love the land; it’s like my own body. I love any and every taste it brings, bitter or sweet. So I’m really happy and feeling fortunate to work with someone who appreciates the same. They are very trustworthy too. Even in the pandemic when restaurants encountered a lot of challenges, they still made their payments fully and on time.”
“Hum invests seriously in packaging, not in the sense to make them glamorous but making them with the environment in mind and [I can tell] their appreciation of culture reflects on every product design… However modern you are, you would still return to the essential values. Hum chooses materials that are more expensive and more difficult to source and to manage, but I love to have a partner like that. I’m happy that we can create fulfilling products together.”
“In order to venture into food business, you have to start with your soul. It has to be intellectual and mindful so that you can create a business that benefits your customers’ health. I highly appreciate Hum in this regard.
What’s more, Hum prioritizes the companionship with farmers. It’s very hard to grow food organically or even clean, so it’s easy to give up, but once you chose to use their products, they are inspired and supported on that path.
Hum invests in everything. They celebrate traditions without making it look old; they select the essences of different regions. The garnish too, everything is delicate and well cared of…
Hum is simple but elegant, natural, and soulful.”
“Hum is a special partner throughout our years of operation. When working with farmers to purchase the organic produce, they are very patient and friendly. I think if you love organic produce you have to be so, just like how the farmers work on their fields.
Hum is also very prudent in quality control. I also like their dishes. Looking directly at the farmer’s produces, made into really nice dishes at Hum like that, I’m very happy and proud.”
