"I'm a cook of Hue food. Now I'm rather old for that job so I got a housekeeping post at Hum. It's like taking care of your own house, just a little more. The managers would instruct you in details; they're really nice. Here everyone loves one another and treats each other kindly, from the kitchen to the service team. I'm raher old now. This place, with these trees and plants, and these kind-hearted youngsters, keep me working for it. Comes a day I can no longer work, I would miss all of them so much!"

"I was majoring in English Education. My initial plan was just to part-time at Hum but my first manager inspired me to pursue this profession, to make it a career and not just a job. At Hum I learn a lot from all of the teams.... Mostly I learnt how to communicate and express my thoughts. It enabled me to be more free and more confident in communication. I learnt to be genuine in talking to guests, not faking it. Everyone taught me something; my first manager inspired me to continue, and my current manager was and still is a role model. She appears strict but is actually very sensitive. She always leads, encourages, and at the same time, protects her staff. There were times I was so tired but just hear her ask "have you eaten?" and all my tiredness went away.... I really feel encouraged."
